JAKARTA: Today (2/2) PT Arya Kharisma (AKH), a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk (Astra), and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (TMAP), a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) held the Grand Launching of PT Mobilitas Digital Indonesia (MDI), a joint venture company of Astra and Toyota which operates in the field of transportation mobility. MDI was established on July 25th, 2022 and has been in operation since August 2022.

The joint venture company will be carrying out its operational activities through the brand name of MODA, MDI’s presence in the Indonesian community aims to provide the best service in supporting community mobility and logistics. In the current digital era, MODA collaborates technology and transportation so as to contribute to national economic growth. MODA provides one-stop services for customer’s vehicle management equipped with integrated technology that includes vehicle location tracking, tracks driving behaviour and several other features to support customer’s operational activities.

“MODA is ready to serve the community’s needs of vehicle rental services in Indonesia. We hope to provide mobility solutions and the best experience to customers through the collaboration between Astra and Toyota,” said President Director of PT Mobilitas Digital Indonesia Vilihati Surya during the Grand Launching of MODA today.

By doing so, we can contribute not only to reduce accidents, fuel consumption and CO2 emission, but also to improve logistic efficiency in Indonesia,” said Vice President Director of PT Mobilitas Digital Indonesia Yutaka Okayama in the same occasion.
